About the event

We're back for the TRAC Hay & Silage Roadshow, our Experts In Ruminant Productivity are coming to Casterton on Tuesday, the 13th of August.

The TRAC team are bringing you the latest research and practical strategies to optimise silage quality and quantity to maximise productivity & profitablitity in your business. We're partnering with Brandt Australia Hamilton branch to deliver you an on-farm presentation on setting up your Mower Conditioner & Tedder Rake for hay & silage production at a local dairy farm on the outskirts of town.

Here, we'll also be checking out a 15 year old underground silage pit as well as looking at an ideal way to pack and store your silage this season.

Owen Rees, Senior TRAC Ruminant Productivity Consultant will deliver an informative session back at the Casterton Sandford Football Netball Club where lunch & afternoon tea will be provided.

Senior TRAC Ruminant Productivity Consultant, Owen Rees said it himself...

"Time & time again I see the right tools & equipment being used for forage conservation, but the result isn’t exactly where it needs to be. The aim of the day is to provide information on the how & why, so you walk away with the knowledge to convert your home-grown forage into milk and meat.”

This is a FREE event, bring a fellow farmer with you, but registrations are essential!

See you there!
